Note: If you are interested in joining YM School Council for the 2025/2026 school year, please check the Friday Forecast and other school emails in September 2025.
Every September, we invite all parents and caregivers of students enrolled at York Mills CI to self-nominate or nominate others for the 15 Parent/Caregiver Representative positions on the YM School Council. It is a one-year term.
As a council member, you’ll collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to shape the school’s programs and initiatives. Scroll down to read a description of the position. It is strongly recommended that parents and guardians review the School Council By-Laws prior to submitting a Nomination Form.
To nominate yourself or another current YMCI parent or caregiver, please complete the self-nomination form or nomination form by the deadline. If you cannot access the form, please contact the school office for a print version.
