York Mills CI School Council is a collaborative group of parents, guardians, educators, and students committed to supporting academic success, well-being, and community engagement. We act as an advisory to York Mills CI and the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), advocating for resources and initiatives to help every student thrive. Explore this section to learn more about who we are, our current members, and how you can get involved in School Council meetings.

School councils are primarily led by parents and guardians, who make up the majority of our members. The council also includes the principal and staff and student representatives. Any parent or caregiver of a student enrolled in the school is welcome to self-nominate or nominate others each September to join the council for a one-year term.
