TDSB Excellence Awards

Nominations for the 2026 TDSB Excellence Awards are open. These awards recognize individuals and teams whose work reflects the very best of public education and the deep commitment our staff show to students and communities every day.

All our YMCI staff members are amazing. This year Principal Gage and the School Council support two nominees for these Awards:

●      Special Education teacher Jenessa Dworet in the Excellence in Teaching category

●      School Safety Monitor Karim Nanji in the Excellence in Student Support category.

School staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community members are all welcome to submit a nomination. Nominations must be submitted individually and online using this Form.

Each submission must include a short text or a recorded video explaining the nominee's merits and accomplishments. More detail at https://www.tdsb.on.ca/About-Us/Excellence

Deadline: Nominations are open until Friday, February 27 5:00 P.M.
